Looks Great!
Are you still working on the liner? Have you thought about making an Ozan?

Stakes are completed and a final setup staked out properly. Still have to make the pockets that will be sewn to the smoke flaps and as gus pointed out, get the liner done which I've already mocked up a scaled down paper template. The liner will be made from six individual canvas pieces and will have a max diameter once completed around 21'. Canvas actually should be waiting on the door step! Once the liner is dialed in I'll give everything a good coat of protectant. Odds and ends here and there but I'm just tickled to death with this project. Concerning an ozan, likely not but I will make a raincap.

Cover painted... What a chore! Liner is in the final stages of completion as is the door. Little odds and ends left but boy! She's one project I'm very proud of thus far!

Your neighbors are okay with you "pitching a big tent" in the back yard? 😉

Your neighbors are okay with you "pitching a big tent" in the back yard? 😉 If you laid eyes on the status of their "jungle" growing the lodge is likely of no concern to them! I'm close to dawning my artillery for fear of tigers and lions that may be hidden within said grass...

Final setup yesterday and waterproofing this morning once things dry out. Still have to hang and tweak the liner but images of that will follow. I've had many compliments of people walking by which turned into several historical lesson encounters, always good! VERY pleased... One of the largest projects I've taken on in terms of size obviously and overall planning. Something I'm certainly proud of and look forward to the memories it'll make.

Great job. Kids loving it? When do they spend their 1st overnight in it?
