Hi, gang. Just popping in to say hello. Brokennock thought I’d be a good match for the discussions here. I’m a primary-source driven student mixed with a bit of life experimentation outdoorsman. Currently focused on the Susquehanna frontier in the 1750s. Looking forward to learning and sharing what I’m able to find.

Please pull up a seat by the fire, sit a spell, have a sip, and enjoy some discussion (along with some occasional long silences while we stare at the fire, the twinkling coals can be mesmerizing, lol).

I posted a question regarding firearms endemic to the Susquehanna frontier in the 1750s over on the ML forum and friendly Brokennock thought the kind or research and scholarship I’m interested in would be a good match here.
