Fat and happy is good.
Thanks for sharing a very nice outing. Seeing you and your brothers on a hunt brings back fond memories. When I was a teen and just learning to hunt, it was a tradition that the men of the extended family spent Thanksgiving morning hunting rabbits, then everyone gathered for the feast. Good times, good memories, good for you.

Thanks gentlemen, we used to shoot clay pigeons on Thanksgiving, but now we enjoy the 18th century so much, this may become the tradition.

My dad, brother, and I go pheasant hunting Thanksgiving morning, been doing it for years. Was always with our good old friend Jerry, for most of those years it was over his dogs. Now Jerry is getting into his upper 70s or early 80s and has Parkinsons disease, he just can't do it anymore,,, he did meet us at the trucks when we came out this year for our annual toast though... hurts. Not an 18th century hunt, but I have taken the flintlock a couple times.
