Yeah, I'm with Hawkeyes on this one. Looks like the type of stuff some folks love, but that I'd loose my mind with. I don't miss being stuck in one place 8 to 12 hours a day/night.

With respect I'd take mine over that one!

I need something where I can combine Paranger's view, with Bushfire's spaciousness and extended distance from "the public" of both.
Thank you Paranger.

Working in a Lab is a somewhat solitary job. Thankfully, it is far different than the Health Dept where I had to interact with the public on a daily basis. It allows my mind to travel far and wide while my hands are busy with familiar tasks - I suspect not much different than PA Ranger or Bushfire...

Laboratory scientist (research, not clinical/hospital).

Drive contract spraying or spreading for farmers and you'll get a bit of all of it! Does work in Ag pay well in the states? Not sure anymore. Things are changing rapidly. Most of the commercial ag around here is tobacco. Specifically Connecticut shade leaf cigar wrappers. But that is shrinking rapidly. Nationally too many farms are being bought up by giant ag corporations, including many owned by the Chinese. Corporate agriculture is disgusting on many levels. To get any further into an answer delves too deeply into our devolving culture and politics.

Brokennock - I understand where you're coming from it's moving that way here. All aspects of Ag that is. 12 months after I started working for an independent we were bought out by a multi national. I believe we (Nutrien) are getting sizeable in the eastern US states now.

Does work in Ag pay well in the states? If you're the owner, it probably pays well. The people who work for them, maybe not so much...
