Hand forged from 1095 and handled in bloodwood ("red-handled scalper"), this typical mid century English trade knife features a half width tang with the resultant gap filled with cutler's cement (pine tar and brick dust). The blade bears the cutler's mark of Joseph Antt (maltese cross over L), registered with the Hallamshire Cutler's Guild in 1750. It was copied from an actual dug blade. Asking $125 shipped. Open to trades and offers.
