I saw a photo of a small brazier attributed to being used by the Maruis de Lafayette during the American (not the French one ) Revolution.
Then, I saw this, and bought it.
No guys, it wasn't the apple, though I can be a bit slow at times. Repurpose it or not? It would be handy for making a small fire and heating water for coffee or a small meal. Anyone here who would do the same?
Btw, the three legged pot on the bottom is a modern made Swedish reproduction, and cost me about the same as a restaurant breakfast.

Heck, yes: I would say the form is close enough to justify and being modern makes it safe to use!

There are many variations of portable braziers, & I would say this one passes muster. I would not use one, simply because it does not suit my persona. A good find, well done. Keith.
