Cherokee style black locust "D" bow I made last summer. Weighs in between 40 and 45 pounds at my draw length (26").

Here's the "before" picture. My father-in-law and I split out several staves from a recently harvested local black locust, then sealed the ends with wood glue and dried for about 8 months.

Locust makes one nice bow, along with osage one of my favorite bow woods and very plentiful.
