Is it legal to have that much fun in Australia? Spence No Spence, most of our freedoms have been taken from us here in Australia. It is only a matter of time before our muzzle-loading guns & our 18th century militia groups are seen as a threat to our corrupt government & then living history too will be banned. Keith.

These are the sort of activities that I think will attract more people to 18th century living history. But we all know that we are different from the majority of people out there, we can't expect a sudden mass infusion of enthusiastic followers to join our ranks, only maybe one person in one hundred outdoors types/campers will think that what we do is great & wish they had known about living history earlier. Just look at the bushcraft fraternity, busy making up pointless so called skills such as knife batoning to split wood so that they have something to demonstrate. Meanwhile their equipment is getting more high tech & the number of "gadgets" are increasing! These are not the sort of people who will find what we do, fun. Keith.
