Any tips on Turning bag inside out? Working with some heavier leather and though I haven’t tried soaking it yet just wondered if there was any tips. Used a looser whip stitch hoping that it would be easier to work

Wet it. I also use a dowel with a rounded off end for small bags, and a miniature wood canoe paddle for larger bags, to push on the inside. Being a little more aggressive than you think you should is usually necessary.

I will never forget how concerned I was the first time I wet veg tanned leather to shape it. Not long afterwards, I saw them doing it at Colonial Williamsburg to form leather for bayonet scabbards and other things, so then I felt better. Today I think nothing of wetting leather to form it or turn a pouch inside out, etc. etc.
I've found rounded ends of small screwdriver handles work great to begin pushing the leather into shape. You can also use Antler tine tips to force the last bit of leather into the final shape when you turn a pouch inside out.
