Looking for a gently used completely hand-sewn 18th c. English style linen shirt either by William Carter or equivalently skilled tailor. Size medium or large.

If you can’t find a used shirt, I’ve had good luck with Bethlehem Trading Post: bethlehemtradingpost.com/mens-shirts.phpI have two, and while their prices have gone up since I got mine, they make nice linen shirts. Good luck in the search!

Good luck in the search![/quote] Thanks. Yes, Vinny makes some good stuff. His shirts are all machine sewn, though. I am looking to upgrade to a high end hand-sewn one. My wife made me one, which is my favorite, but made it pretty clear it would be her last. But if you have ever seen an original, the minute details like the tiny gathers at the cuffs and neck and the decorative top stitching on cuffs, buttonholes, etc., is really something to behold...and well beyond my skill level!
