In my endeavor to make the most authentic 18th century shot pouch I could I found an excellent article :(http://ofsortsforprovincials.blogspot.com/2011/03/making-shot-bag-or-pouch-part-1-of-2.html?m=1) It was a great help except I wasn’t fond of the design the author chose. My search continued until I found some similar shot pouches that had traits I found more appealing. I did my best this time in drawing up my pattern to adhere to the size of some of the few surviving period examples and went to work... The dimensions I choose were roughly 6” high by 8” wide. To my eye at the time and my mind on a time clock set on getting this shot pouch finished in a timely fashion, it all seemed to work... What I overlooked was those dimensions were exterior dimensions AFTER the pouch had been turned!!! After finishing the main compartment and turning I was left with a shot pouch made for someone with the hands of a Hobbit!!! My big Sicilian sausage fingers weren’t going to fit in this thing!!! Luckily, the same friend who took the first shot pouch off my hands loved this little pouch that actually made a very nice belt pouch suited to carry your fire kit or other incidentals. I passed it on to him at a friend’s price and went back the drawing board AGAIN...

I've already seen the outcome of all this, but, hurry up and get part 3 up here. Lol.
I think you did a good job on all of these, and at a very impressive rate.

Very nice my friend, well done. I like this little pouch and may have to make one for myself. We're does the interior pocket come into play? Am I missing that in your cutouts?

Hawk, This and the larger version both have a divider but no interior pocket. If you look at the second pic you can just see the top of the divider. Should you so desire I can send you the pattern for it. Let me know. Many thanks for the compliments!!
