Does anyone have any favorite sites or plans they might share?

The best maker that I know is Toone at: Livinghistoryshop.com. Very well researched, very well made, not inexpensive & suited for a somewhat upscale impression. Great stuff!

Some may have accused me (behind my back) of acting "upscale" (read snobby) because of my desire to be PC/HC. Only keyboard warriors have said it to my "face" while touting their "rubber boot and chrome-tan" impressions...
I have seen their website - nice stuff! A little out of my price-range but great inspiration. Maybe I'll take a shot at my own interpretation when back in my shop. I have always admired that Washington Mess Kit.

With your abilities high quality PC furniture is within reach! I've had plans for years to make some simple folding seats and such just always find it easier to set my bumps on a log... Lastly... Most that make such accusations wouldn't last a night in the forest in complete period kit IMO... Nor do they have the skills.

That would be the one. The Living History website listed above has a shiny new repro shown.
I will eventually make more advanced furniture when I have time.
Some talk tough from behind a keyboard and I agree they'd have a hard or impossible time doing it the right way in the woods with a period kit...
