Completed a new Sheepsfoot based from a template paranger sent me of his original British specimen. Single piece of 1095, tad over 6" blade length and a smidgen under 10" overall length. Through tang is secured to a turned poplar handle and peened in place to an iron cap. Cutlers resin has been used for good measure as well. I'm absolutely in love with this blade. Handles extremely well and has taken a remarkable edge. It'll be a welcome addition to the belt come deer season for skinning. Handle has been finished with beeswax and tallow.

Thank you! A fun blade to reproduce, especially the burn through on the handle... ohhhh the smell is heavenly.
