Look at the details! Click to open it. It’s a high-res image. There’s a guy puking in another guy’s pocket. There are a future Rhode Island governor and several signers of the Declaration in this painting. Also the artist himself.
This was commissioned by the men in the paining!
It’s like the 18th Century version of an embarrassing Facebook post from your past! I love it.
Also… good documentation on clothing colors and styles.

I think if you Google search the image name you can find an image of it that you can zoom in on. I know I have seen this picture before and was able to look at it in detail. I may have saved it.
