lead to a question in my mind's eye.
I think I can picture this "slip pin," or, "hook and pin," construction. But, does anyone have a picture of the parts and assembly?

Sorry, I'm not sure what they mean. To me, "hook" normally means a "Hooked" Breech with wedges through escutcheons in the forearm to hold the barrel in.

Actually, I think our problem is we are going off a description by someone who is not very knowledgeable and is unknowingly messing up the description.
