Well, I finally finished up that flintlock pistol but I had to cheat and take it to my local Flintlockologist who basically replaced the main spring, had to reshape the trigger guard assembly and re-sand (stain) over some of most of my work. Don't know how much I can claim was all my work now.    |

She looks great. How does she shoot?
Be glad you have a local flintlockologist. I wish I did, my pistol needs a bunch of work, and the lock on my FdC could use some too.
Could we get a close-up of the trigger guard and side plate inletting please?

It's a smoothbore isn't it? Just use any ball that fits easily in the bore and some wadding. Or even a paper cartridge. |

Actually it is rifled (I'm pretty sure; you've got me doubting myself now)

Okay, I found where you 1st mentioned the pistol in your topic about browning the barrel. It being a Pedersoli makes me think you are correct and it would be rifled. My apologies for my initial assumption.
