Here are a few photos of a Ketland Trade Pistol that I just made from a MBS kit. The gun is quite a good shooter, though the lack of any sights makes it a tad challenging π Ps; I donβt be know how to attach a photo using my iPhone yet!

Between Hawkeyes multi material talents from blacksmithing to horn work to leather to clothing and native craft, Ryan and his tailoring, PaRanger and his knives, Spence and his archival talents and ability to turn out great stuff whenever he tries something, Black Hand also being able to turn out high quality period items when he decides to regardless of medium,,,, never mind getting into all the neat stuff Gus has made and shown us in the past,,,, and now we have Bob who's craftsmanship I've been admiring elsewhere for a while,,,, I feel wholly inadequate to play here anymore. π

You are very welcome, I was fingers crossed that I was not overstepping my bounds.

Bob,
I really like that pistol as well. NICELY done! The front of the lock panels with the flowing step aprons are lovely and remind me of something similar on a P 1730 Brown Bess Musket.
OK, now details, please!
Is the stock plain maple?
How long is the barrel?
What caliber is it?
Thanks, Gus
