Shot in the dark: I am looking for a used copy of Stanley Pargellis' Lord Loudoun in America. They seem to be few and far between (and astronomical when available). Anybody happen to have an extra copy they would be willing to part with?

Have you tried your local public library? They likely won't have it, but they may be able to do a search among other libraries across the Country, and come up with one that will ship it to your library for your use. It's worth a try, although, if the book is that rare, it probably is not lent out. But, then again, you may find that there is a library that has it , at a location convenient to your travels. You could then go there, read it, and even copy sections for later reference.

Have you tried archive.org yet? It will allow you to search any digitalized media at libraries worldwide.

No, I have not tried the library yet, but certainly a possibility. I tend to like to own such books for my reference library, so perhaps I just need to be patient and persistent.

I finally got hold of a copy of "Sons of a Trackless Forest" - not cheap but "affordable". As with so many things, it is what it is worth to you.
