Nock, An excellent read!!! I’ve been studying that conflict on and off and trying to figure out how to work it into the background of my persona. That article helped a great deal!! I suppose that the Susquehanna company as well as the others look like they were actually the root cause of the settlers being at risk on that frontier. They were misled. I am less than impressed by the behavior of the Paxton boys. If they wanted blood they should’ve went out into the bush after the antagonists

A year or two ago I saw a bumper sticker that read "...fighting illegal immigration since 1492." Americans of European extraction might see Pontiac from one perspective, however Amerindians may have a very different take on the conventional history.
That's all I have to say about that.

That's all I have to say about that. I guess the island hopping pacific islanders that were here before them could say the same thing but we're not supposed to talk about that in this day and age...

Actually, I stand corrected, Evidence of Neanderthals preceded them: www.nytimes.com/2017/04/26/science/prehistoric-humans-north-america-california-nature-study.html

I just recorded an interview on the JAR podcast “Dispatches” last night; it should appear mid-March.

I was able to listen today. It was good company here in sick bay as I tried to get a few stitches into some decorative trim on a bag flap. Thank you. I think I will listen to some of the other podcasts posted at that link.

I think I will listen to some of the other podcasts posted at that link. If you’re interested, I posted my latest article in the Library section. It’s on Loyalist James Moody’s capture and escape, so I didn’t know exactly where to put it on this site. The podcast interview to go along with it will probably appear mid-January.
