The neck knife sheath is a representation of my very first attempt at quilling. Less than museum quality IMO but something I've held on to over the years as something that represents a starting point in the quilling journey. The next item is actually my tobacco pouch made from brain tan deer hide utilizing a birch bark backer. This technique is extremely old and much rarer than sewing quills to leather. The link below outlines the process. This piece took me a decent amount of time and is rather simplistic, but one of my favorite pieces I've done. www.nativetech.org/quill/quillbark/
