The pistols are India made English doglocks like those sold by Vetetan Arms. The one HBC longarm I saw closely was as well. PARanger, I made a horrible mistake of buying an India musket from him when I first got back into the lifestyle because of the price point. You don’t know what you don’t know... A friend of mine gave it a HIGE facelift and now it’s pretty decent Yeah, my take is similar. They can be made passable with a lot of elbow grease, but still not worth the cost, IMO. I would much rather pay a bit more for a used custom build from a reputable builder. |

It was, to be trite, a “Pilgrim’s Journey”... |
