I spent the day at the Museum of the Cherokee portraying 18th century trader at their fall Cherokee encampment, alongside tribal native interpreters. This is a great museum and I highly recommend if you ever get a chance to visit. Though our job is to educate visitors I always end up walking away enriches myself with lots of new found knowledge from the experience. Feeling the weight of responsibility to provide authentic interpretation and information really adds impetus to do further research in the quest for authenticity and authority. Just sharing with y’all because I figure you guys understand where I’m coming from. free image sharing
