I just wanted to wish all of you and your families a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
We are living through some difficult history right now but much like those who came before us, it’s vital to survival that you take time to raise your spirits, give thanks to the Creator and draw our loved ones close and enjoy them!!!

Best wishes from me and mine to you and yours. Things are tough and going to stay that way for a long while, I think, but there are better times out there somewhere. There is going to be a lot more pain before we get control of this virus, but if we follow the science it will happen. We'll never see what we used to consider as normal again, but we have a talent for adjusting.
As Santa version 2020 would say, ""Ecstatic Yuletide to the planetary constituency, and to the selfsame assemblage, my sincerest wishes for a salubriously beneficial and gratifyingly pleasurable period between sunset and dawn."

On a more serious note - a very happy/merry whatever you celebrate day!
Employees at the Health Dept where I work start getting vaccinated tomorrow. I'll be in line on Monday as I've taken a few days away. This will go a long way to improving the state of mind for many, though there are still those who don't trust the science and won't get vaccinated.
