Have plenty of squirrel meat from this season already, but it would certainly be a treat to break her in on one.

That super long breech tang must have been a PITA to inlet.

Nice Rifle! That super long breech tang must have been a PITA to inlet. Gus Kibler kit, just took some fine fitting with some very sharp chisels and lamp soot. However it is somewhat tedious dropping the barrel in and out for fitting. Certainly takes an eye not to booger that inlet.

A beautiful rifle! love the color of the stock. Thank you. Color was achieved from iron nitrate, tannic acid and anilian dye. Stock prep however is absolutely critical to a fine, flaw free finish, very important!
