As some of you may be aware, this was to have been the weekend for the Fort Frederick (MD) 18th c. Market Faire, which was cancelled for the second consecutive year due to the pandemic. Now that I am fully vaccinated, I had planned to attend as a vendor / blanket seller (knives, shot pouches, etc.)
So, I am am looking for some other possible venues this summer and fall within a day's drive of central Pennsylvania (NY, NJ, MD, OH, DE, VA, WV) that might still have openings. Anyone have any suggestions? Any good shows / events you know of that fit the criteria above that I should consider?

The only news I have you may have already heard and it's bad news. Dixon's Gun Maker's Fair was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, but they somewhat recently announced they would not be doing any more of them.

I am afraid this whole genre of event may die out. After 2 years of no revenue, many sutlers / vendors may hang it up. |

If you're ever on this end of the continent - the Ft. Union Rendezvous (North Dakota) is usually Father's Day weekend. Was cancelled last year and likely this year too...

Mmm, of course. Tough dates for me always, as my family spends a week on Cape Cod together second week of July. Makes things tough financially to do anything within a few weeks either side. I lost my job 2 weeks ago,,, that isn't going to help the $$$ part,,, but,,, I'll have the time available... (I want to lol at that, just can't) |

Unfortunately at the same time I took a chance on some investing that would have left me with both more time and money,,, and most importantly,, much less stress,,,
I lost everything.
