Annotated Bibliography on French Colonial Archaeology

Great find!

I've been trying to research early Spanish Colonial culture outside the Florida colony.

It is interesting to see how far spread Spanish settlements and exploration were; like this recent find deep in western NC (near where I live).

I wonder if any people of Spanish descent stayed around and integrated with English colonists and/or native people in the Appalachians.
