Thanks for posting that up for me.
A big thanks to all the American b.p. shooters who have been shooting Swiss and any other foreign powders.
Now, with a stroke of a pen, some politician can outlaw the importation of b.p. for whatever stupid reason, because it's an explosive, or some dumb shit. And we will have no powder source.

I know a fella... He makes good quality powder. My black... cough, cough this fellas black is a very fine product. Let your hearts not be troubled, my fellow black powder enthusiasts the individual will make sure you all WILL NOT go without.

I haven't been too visible for a while, lost an old, dear friend, had a second prostate surgery 9 days ago, my computer lost contact with the internet a while ago, and my reading glasses broke the other day, which makes it very difficult to do this on my cell phone. I must sound like the Sad Sack...so I hope you are all having a bit of a laugh ( that's just my Irish sense of humor that laughs at misfortunes...especially someone else's). I think the competition from Swiss powders may have led to GOEX making Old Eynesford. But GOEX is gone. Any revival, or new comer is years away. So we will have to rely on foreign suppliers...and do-it-yourselfers. Richard/Grumpa |

Thanks to all for your kind thoughts. My second go'round for the prostate surgery. Each day a little better. Hope to get to Fort Pitt museum shortly, for the "Pittsburgh, Virginia" exhibit.
Also, I have some GOEX, and a bunch of roundball I ran off with a friend (using a mold that came with my custom repro 1803 Harpers Ferry .54 cal.), so I hope to get to the range soon and try them out.
