I just read on that other forum that Beth Gilgun, author of, "Tidings from the 18th Century," has passed away.
I was just looking through her book a few days ago after not having done so in a while. I recommend that book often.
Another big loss to our community.

A truly great loss - Beth's book has served as an inspiration for me. I have a greatcoat made by Beth, and it is one of my prized items.

This is terrible news.  I believe we just talked about her book (which I purchased for my wife some years ago?) when I was looking for a shirt pattern here. I didn't think she was too old. How sad. |

Yes, horrible. I didn't think she was much older than me.
Thing is, I read this on the other forum.
I can't find anything else about it online.
I don't have Facebook, I know she has/had a Facebook page, anyone check it out?

Ken Hamilton told Flint62Smoothie who then confirmed that she passed away of a heart ailment in conversation with her ex-husband Chris who is a friend of his. |

I worded that poorly. She didn't pass in conversation with her ex. Flint62Smoothie confirmed it in a conversation he had with her ex.
