Reading (lots of reading), hunting (not just muzzleloader, love traditional archery and older shotguns and .22's), motorcycle riding, hiking, fishing, pistol shooting,,, lots and lots of pistol shooting until recently,, IDPA shooting and match design and officiating, instructing modern practical pistol. Some cross-country skiing, but that is mostly to get more woods time and make the best of a bad situation. Good cigars, nice tobacco pipes. Not sure if I would include reloading as something I enjoy or if it is just a task inherent in pistol shooting that I do enjoy.
Oh,,, and,,, eating. I really enjoy good food,,, can be kind of a beer snob,,, even somewhat of a "burger snob," love good or interesting foods and sharing it with my few friends.

I really haven't any hobbies that realistically won't come full circle back to living history honestly. However my most "modern hobbies" would be archery and shooting airguns with my kids, hiking, painting/ sketching and collecting old tools and using them on woodworking projects. I love to weld and fabricate metal structures and industrial equipment as it's what I do for a living predominantly. Anything that allows me to use my brain and hands. Coffee runs my life... Can't forget that! Oh, I make cigar box guitars. Love old blues, bluegrass and folk music. upload images

Awesome drawings, I enjoy sketching as well, mostly with charcoal. My prized sketch of my first redtail hawk Blue. Your sketches are phenomenal by the way.

I do an exceptional stick figure.... HC/PC, I presume... Yep - they look like some I've seen on powderhorns (only far more crude in style and uninteresting to boot).

Portraits and human figures in general have always been a troubling area for me... I can manage stick figures though!
