And 90% of society thanks you. Sorry, Hawkeyes, couldn't resist. It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better, boys. Stay safe. Wash your hands again. Spence Guess I must let it slide! Had to grab milk on the way home yesterday and about stroked out. I can't handle the masses even on a normal day. It's comical yet sad to watch people be in frizz. My mother is the supervisor over the school cafeteria. She mentioned to me that they have had countless calls concerning kids not being able to be fed breakfast and lunch. Shows where the true problem is with schools being closed, parents concerned about free day care and a meal service. Why be actual parents when you can pawn your kids off? Just blows my mind individuals are flipping about actually having to care for their children now... God forbid families have a meal together, play games, go outside, read books...

I usually shop around 9am on a Sunday - just a few people in the store. The few occasions I am forced to shop Saturday afternoon, I am compelled to leave within 15 minutes due to the overload created by the throng...

I stopped by four groceries on my way home yesterday. Found all of my favorite cheeses but not my favorite (locally made) salsa. All four stores were out of toilet paper & tissues but all of the food shelves were full. Apparently people are more worried about being able to wipe than being able to eat. Logic would hint that if you don't eat, you likely won't need to do much wiping - but then logic has gotten me in trouble before.

I'm with ya brother. Sometimes I can even get everything on my list. Especially at Trader Joe's. The size and layout of the store is such that you can't flow through, grab what you need, and move along without dodging people, having them just randomly cut you off and stop right in front of you. My anxiety builds as I approach the door. Love the products, hate the place. The "what will we do without the free (poor quality/nutrition) school breakfast and lunch programs," cry is being heard all over. It shows just how far down the road to state dependance, and thus control, we have already been lead.

Got to witness the TP madness in person today at Sam's Club- nearly every cart had a huge package of TP (48-count). There was enough available that I did not see any fights.
While I am concerned about the developing pandemic, panic is detrimental to all involved. Our Health Officer and others field calls from people all day long - one was concerned about potential infection from pool/spa water. All of this is fueled by a desperately misinformed/under-informed media that never lets the truth stand in the way of a story. Click-bait headlines and inflammatory sound-bytes all contribute to the hysteria...

Our local grocery store is literally out of EVERYTHING... My wife just showed me the pictures. I also messaged our game warden asking him if it comes down to it can I take a deer out of season. He replied back with "As will I my friend, no need to contact me and ask".
Never have I witnessed anything like this madness. It does feel good to know we all have the skills required to put food on the table out of necessity.

Spence No panic yet, been in some sticky situations around the world more than I'd like which certainly can cause a true panic in a hurry. However does raise redflags when our only grocery store is out of even the basics. Outside of a 45 minute drive we have only a gas station. The ridiculous knee jerking from the masses is what's irritating on a grand scale.

The MT stay at home order is lifting Sunday. I certainly hope it isn't premature - another 2 weeks would gave suited me fine and given a margin of confidence.

It is worse in America right now than anywhere else, I see no point in taking unnecessary risks. Keith.

It is a tough call all around. Our economy can't take this any longer, too many people loosing jobs, even hospitals and doctors offices closing. My brother just got sent home from work for the next 2 weeks because I tested positive and now my dad appears to have it. I understand the caution, to a degree, but people need to work, and, to a certain extant be allowed to make their own decisions if they are low risk and symptom free. Like I said, tough call all around, it seems a fine line, but we are definitely too far on the side of too much government control.
